Description

Shift: 6am - 4pm Monday - Friday 

Pay: $23.40 an hour 

Martin Marietta is currently looking for energized individuals to join our team at our open pit  limestone quarry in our Cedar Rapids Quarry, IA. This position would be responsible for operating a haul truck.

Essential Responsibilities 

Responsible for operating a variety of off road haul trucks and other equipment utilized in mining which could include loaders, skid loaders, etc.  Perform daily inspection of vehicle and work area as assignedObserve visual and auditory signals during vehicle operation Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment; clean equipmentAssist on plant maintenance and repairs as neededOther mining related duties as required

Minimum Education and Experience

High school Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.Minimum 1 year previous experience in a role with similar responsibilitiesBi-Lingual is a plus
