**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking Heavy Equipment Operators for various civil site work locations in the Charleston area. This role offers minimal travel and allows you to be home every night. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be expected to operate machinery and assist with manual labor tasks as needed. **Responsibilities** + Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, backhoes, and graders. + Assist with manual labor tasks including shoveling, trench work, loading and unloading supplies and equipment. + Collaborate with the crew to meet project deadlines and completion dates. + Maintain reliability and punctuality, fostering a positive attitude within the team. + Submit to a drug test as part of the hiring process. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience with heavy equipment operation. + Fine grading experience is highly preferred. + Experience with GPS technology is preferred. + Flexible availability, including the potential for overtime and weekends. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with a variety of heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, backhoes, and graders. + Willingness to perform manual labor tasks as required. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers great benefits and is family-owned and operated.
