**Maintenance Mechanic (Body Prep)** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic (Body Prep) to maintain, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic production equipment. The main duties include performing preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, lubricating machines, and operating the rectifying machine. **Responsibilities** + Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic production equipment such as motors, conveyors, and presses. + Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment. + Lubricate machines and ensure they are operating efficiently. + Spend 25% of the time performing basic maintenance on the machines. + Spend 75% of the time operating the rectifying machine. **Essential Skills** + Experience in maintenance, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Ability to work with chain-driven machines. + Ability to lubricate and maintain mechanical equipment. + Capability to supply own hand tools or have the ability to obtain them. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in military maintenance, mechanic work, welding, fabrication, and diesel mechanics. **Why Work Here?** You will be part of a supportive and innovative team within a large tile manufacturing company. The environment can be dusty due to tile dust but remains fairly clean. Some tasks may involve working at heights on tall equipment, including scaffolding. The temperature can be very hot in the summer, especially around kilns and ovens. Steel-toe shoes are required, but shorts and cut-off t-shirts are allowed. This position covers the glaze and body prep/raw materials line. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
