This is a full-time Non-union position. This position operates 100% of the time in an outdoor surface aggregate quarry setting at Alden Quarry located in Alden, IA. Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position that regularly requires Monday – Friday and some weekend work. Average work week is 55 to 60 hours per week.
