**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. You will operate a variety of equipment including excavators, mini excavators, skid steers, dozers, rollers, and crawler carriers. Our work spans across the oil/gas, environmental, and commercial landscape construction industries. This is a year-round position with the potential to work up to 7 days a week and 12-hour shifts, all outside. Travel will be within the tristate area. **Responsibilities** + Operate equipment in a safe manner. + Work with various types of equipment such as excavators, mini excavators, skid steers, dozers, rollers, and crawler carriers. + Work extended hours and overtime as needed, including a 6-7 day work schedule. + Safely operate trucks and equipment. + Load and unload trucks and equipment before and after use. + Perform daily maintenance on equipment and communicate the need for maintenance or repair. + Adhere to safety policies and procedures. **Essential Skills** + Experience in equipment operation. + Ability to handle a physically demanding workload. + Ability to use a transit. + Ability to operate equipment with GPS capabilities. + Valid driver's license. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + CDL is a plus, but not required. + Strong work ethic. **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment where operators stay busy year-round due to our involvement in various industries.
