**Description** • Operate Heavy Equipment such as backhoes, excavators, dozers. etc. • 3+ year of experience in environmental / construction fields • Heavy Equipment (see equipment list below) **PLUS:** • Experience in environmentally related more than construction • Primary experience with Excavator/ Dozers • CDL (commercial driver's license) **JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:** • This position will perform operation and maintenance of Excavators/Loaders/Dozers and reports to the Operations Manager of the facility/site. • Some projects will involve digging 4 foot ditches • The work requires considerable skill in manipulating equipment and constant attention to safety of operation in order to prevent accidents. • Assignments are outlined by supervisors and standard procedures are followed in the performance of duties. Work is inspected periodically for safety and economy in operation. • Will be responsible for soils screening, soil moving, and soil processing operations, loading trucks, soil excavation, tank removals, etc • Operate Backhoe to dig test pits • Stock pile soil • Remediation site • Some landfill construction • Must be comfortable operating in tight areas ****clean driving record required** **EQUIPMENT:** • John Deer • Excavators • Backhoe • Dozer • Skid steer **PROJECTS:** • Various types of sites; mostly commercial/industrial • Some projects are outside of NJ (Tri-State area) - big project going on in Maryland right now **Skills:** + OSHA, HEO, Heavy Equipment Operator, Environmental, Construction, Dozer, Excavator, Front Loader, Backhoe, Heavy equipment, Dozer, General labor, Blueprint, skid steer, Excavator, Backhoe, Heo, Equipment operation, Heavy equipment operation, Front end loader, Construction **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** • 40 Hour OSHA - HAZWOPPER *** • 3+ year of experience in environmental / construction utilizing • Heavy Equipment **Experience Level:** Intermediate Level **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $33.00/hr.
