**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for various civil site work locations in the Charleston area. This role involves operating heavy machinery for construction projects and participating in manual labor tasks as needed. This opportunity allows you to be home every night with very limited travel requirements. **Responsibilities** + Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, track hoes, back hoes, excavators, motor graders, and skid steers. + Assist with manual labor tasks, including shoveling, trench work, and loading/unloading supplies and equipment. + Collaborate with the team to ensure project completion, which may involve tasks beyond equipment operation. + Maintain reliable attendance and a positive attitude as part of the crew. + Submit to a drug test as part of the hiring process. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience with heavy equipment (dozers, excavators, back hoes, graders). + Fine grading experience is highly preferred. + GPS experience preferred. + Flexible availability, including overtime and possible weekends. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to read blueprints. + Experience with underground utility and utility construction. + Proficiency in civil site and civil construction. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan, health benefits, and paid time off (PTO).
