Summary
You will make electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on equipment such as excavators, loaders and more. Applicants should have extensive experience with diesel heavy equipment repair.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems for all types of construction equipment.
Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
Proficient in reading electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Ability to assess all equipment to determine cause of issue or failures.
Knowledge of DOT truck and trailer inspections
Other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Willing to join International Union of Operating Engineers Local 77
High School education or equivalent
3-5 years’ experience preferred.
Have your own transportation (no public transportation available)
Great people and communication skills
Organized
Available to work overtime as needed on short notice.
Have own hand tools.
Able to work outdoors in all types of weather and uneven surfaces.
Able to lift 50lbs.
Welding certifications preferred.
Willingness to learn additional responsibilities.
