• Diagnose all phases of vehicle and equipment repair & select appropriate course of action for repairs.
• Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
• Evaluate completed work prior to release, seeking supervisor approval where required.
• Ensure safe use of power and hand-held tools.
• Perform road calls and emergency services as necessary.
• Move vehicles safely between job and work area.
• Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors.
• Actively participate in safety or educational training as required.
• Continuous ASE re-certification to remain in job classification.  Requirements: • High school diploma or GED equivalent; Technical training preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• ASE Certifications preferred. Must obtain 2 ASEs within 6 months of employment.
• Preferred experience with diagnostic computers, heavy line equipment repairs, from heavy 
truck to heavy equipment.
• Must have demonstrated experience monitoring and meeting PM schedules and operating 
shop repair equipment.
• Appropriate mechanic's tool set.
• Excellent communication skills.
