Heavy Equipment Technician
**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Technician** **Schedule: Monday to Friday (7am to 3:30pm)** **Pay: $30 - $40 per hour (based on experience)** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced equipment mechanic/dirt technician to perform mechanical and electrical repairs on various heavy equipment, including excavators and cranes. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues and providing necessary repairs. Knowledge of troubleshooting hydraulics and electrical systems, as well as the ability to read prints and schematics, is essential. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanic and electrical repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators and cranes. + Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with hydraulics and electrical systems. + Read and interpret prints and schematics. + Conduct preventive maintenance and service work on heavy equipment in the construction field. + Perform warranty repairs and provide field service as needed. + Service and maintain equipment such as Link Belt Cranes, National Cranes, Maeda Mini Cranes, Shuttlelifts, Volvo/Linkbelt Excavators, Medcalac, and Merlo. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience working on heavy equipment, construction equipment, cranes, or agricultural equipment. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic pumps and hoses. + Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems. + Ability to read and interpret schematics. + Experience with engine rebuilds. + Service experience performing warranty work and field service. + Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. **Interested?
