What’s the Job?

Compensation: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
Shift: Day Shift

Mechanical Functions

Diagnose and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues on heavy equipment (e.g., hydraulic, fuel systems). Replace filters, belts, and other routine wear components as needed. Perform welding, fabrication, or minor repairs to equipment or structures is a plus. Collaborate with mechanics to address complex equipment maintenance and repair needs. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Operational

Ensure equipment is operated in compliance with company policies and MSHA regulations. Monitor equipment performance and report potential malfunctions or inefficiencies to management. Assist in optimizing equipment usage to maximize productivity.

Safety and Compliance

Participate in and promote a safety-first culture, including adherence to PPE and safety protocols. Assist in emergency response drills and equipment shutdowns when necessary. Ensure compliance with environmental and operational regulations in all activities.

Team Collaboration

Train or mentor new operators on safe equipment usage and maintenance practices. Provide feedback to supervisors on process improvements or operational challenges. Actively participate in team meetings, toolboxes, and safety briefings.
