**Job Title: Heavy Industrial Assembler**
**Job Description**
The Heavy Industrial Assembler will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting various parts throughout the manufacturing process.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform tasks in the assembly and test departments.
+ Disassemble and inspect assemblies.
+ Assemble and test assemblies.
+ Continuously eliminate waste and reduce cycle time.
+ Collaborate with other facility teams (Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering) to quickly address and resolve assembly/test issues.
+ Provide feedback to Engineering on assembly/test discrepancies, drawing errors, and quality issues to prevent recurrence.
+ Promote and uphold values and a culture that prioritize workplace safety, housekeeping, and environmental compliance.
+ Build relationships with peers to foster teamwork and a unified purpose.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in assembly, blueprint reading, and using hand tools.
+ Mechanical assembly and power tool proficiency.
+ Experience with micrometers, calipers, production, repair, and hydraulics.
+ Skills in crane operation, industrial assembly, hand and power tools, and troubleshooting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to walk, stand, climb, lift, and move up to 50 pounds.
+ 3-5+ years in a manufacturing role preferred.
+ Experience and proficiency using precision measuring instruments.
+ Proficient in using hands for handling, feeling, and reaching.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to understand and follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
+ Problem-solving skills for dealing with concrete variables in standardized situations.
+ Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of New Castle, Delaware.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00
- Vacation: From the date of hire, associates start accruing vacation time for the remainder of the calendar year.
- Holiday Pay: Associates receive full-day pay at their regular rate for recognized holidays, which include New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the day after Christmas, depending on location.
- Major Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits: Associates are eligible for comprehensive benefit coverage from the date of hire. They can also enroll eligible dependents, including legally married spouses and children up to age 26. Working spouses with access to employer-sponsored group medical coverage are not eligible to enroll in the medical plan.
- Short-term Disability: This benefit provides financial assistance to associates who are certified as disabled due to illness or injury, provided they have completed 60 days with the company and based on their length of continuous service.
- Long-term Disability: Associates can receive up to 50% of their salary.
- Life Insurance: Coverage is equal to one time the associate's annual base earnings.
- 401K Plan: New hires are automatically enrolled in the company's 401K plan at a pre-tax rate of 6% unless they choose to opt out. Deductions begin after one full calendar month of service. Associates are immediately vested, with a company match of up to 4.5% on contributions.
- Additional 401K Contribution: Associates may receive up to 4.5% of their salary contributed to their 401K based on age and length of service with the company.
- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA): Associates can contribute to the Health Care FSA and/or the Dependent Care FSA.
- Tuition Reimbursement: After one year of continuous employment, associates are eligible for 100% reimbursement of basic tuition charges up to $21,000 for undergraduate studies, and up to $37,000 for graduate/law or a combination of graduate and undergraduate studies.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Available to all benefit-eligible associates, regardless of medical plan enrollment, this program offers counseling, financial advice, and work-life services at no cost to associates and their household family members.
- Annual Review: Associates' performance and compensation are evaluated every year during the fourth quarter.
