**Job Title: Heavy Industrial Assembler** **Job Description** As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for building sub-assemblies and machines that conform to specifications and drawings to meet the Company’s quality standards. **Responsibilities:** + **Assemble Components** : Put together fabricated parts to form large or heavy subassemblies or complete units. + **Fit and Test Parts** : Ensure parts fit correctly and meet tolerances and product specifications. + **Use Tools** : Operate hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment. + **Conduct Welding and Riveting** : Perform welding, riveting, and trimming of parts to align components. + **Quality Control** : Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet quality standards. + **Collaborate with Teams** : Work with other departments such as Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering to resolve assembly/test issues. + **Maintain Safety Standards** : Uphold workplace safety, housekeeping, and environmental compliance. + **Continuous Improvement** : Identify and eliminate waste, reduce cycle time, and provide feedback to Engineering on discrepancies. **Additional details:** + Assemble and fit together mechanical components and build milling machines + Assure proper installation of machine components to achieve proper alignment and operation + Test assembled machines to ensure they perform according to engineering documents + Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues + Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve assembly processes and resolve technical challenges + Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols **Essential Skills** + Blueprint reading + Mechanical skills - able to install seals, bearings, pull shafts, belt alignments, coupling tension + Use of power and hand tools + Industrial assembly + Sub assembly + Machine assembly If interested APPLY now and contact Gaby!! **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
