Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will perform equipment inspections that include troubleshooting and road tests. You will make adjustments, repairs, and overhauls of diesel powered equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, road graders, crawler tractors, mobile cranes up to 60 ton capacity, front end loaders, self loaders, forklift trucks etc. You will Repair hoists, lifts, power take-off equipment, and other devices mounted on the GMEE. You will assist in conducting weight tests and certification inspections on load lifting equipment entered into the program in accordance with directives and accepted industry standards. You will ensure the appropriate test/inspection form is properly completed to document the test/inspection. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Sample tasks may include: EQUIPMENT INSPECTIONS, SYSTEM DIAGNOSTICS, MANFUNCTIONING TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES-PERFORM SCHEUDLED PREVENATIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS AND SERVICES-ABLE TO ASSIST WITH SERVICE AND REPAIR OF SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT SUCH AS BUT NOT LIMITED TO FIREFIGHTING AND RESCUE APARATUS, BOOM TRUCKS, TANKS, PUMPER TRUCKS, STREET SWEEPER TRUCKS, VACUUM TRUCKS, REFUEL TRUCKS, AIRFIELD SUPPORT EQUIPMENT AND OTHER MODIFIED EQUIPMENT.
