HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR
Summary You will serve as a HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR in the MARINE CORP LOGISTICS COMMAND of MAINTENANCE CENTER ALBANY. Responsibilities You will plan. schedule, observe and monitors ongoing production-oriented work on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis, or directs assignments of similar duration. You will take all actions required to ensure the execution and attainment of production schedules assigned the unit(s). You will take all actions required to ensure work is completed within estimated budget of hours and materials and that all workmanship and products meet requirements. You will approve the expenditure of resources by the unit(s) supervised. You will take all actions required to ensure all quality parameters or assigned work are met. You will find ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed. Reviews quality related data and based on observed trends, improves work methods and workmanship as needed. You will Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Education Additional Information Conditions of Employment Continued: You are required to possess and maintain certification as a Certified Product Inspector (CPI). The CPI certification is required to perform various types of product and workmanship inspections. Inspection proficiency is verified by written and visual testing and evaluations.
