Job Title: Heavy Press Operator - Starting at $20/hr!

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Heavy Press Operator to join our production team in a forging shop. This role involves lifting hot steel on a tong, operating a hydraulic press to form steel into pieces, and visually inspecting parts. The position is physically demanding and requires flexibility with shifts. Training will be provided on multiple positions, allowing for rotation as a 'utility' worker.

Work Environment

The work environment is dirty, hot, and loud, with no climate control. PPE is required, including hard hats, safety glasses, steel toe shoes with metatarsal protection, and ear plugs. Some positions may also require a face shield and double ear protection. Currently, we operate one shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends based on production needs. Longer shifts throughout the week are common to avoid weekend overtime. There are currently four openings for this role.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
