Helicopter A&P Mechanic
**Job Title: Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic to perform inspections, repairs, services, and modifications to helicopter airframe and engines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the aircraft is maintained in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies. **Responsibilities** + Perform inspections, repairs, services, and modifications to helicopter airframe and engines. + Move and position aircraft in the hangar and on the flight line. + Work overtime and travel as needed. + Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities associated with supporting the daily operations activities of the Part 145 repair station. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of Helicopter maintenance experience. + Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles as applied to aviation. + Ability to use and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and technical publications. + Experience performing inspections. + FAA Airframe & Powerplant Licenses preferred but not required. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with aircraft maintenance, aircraft components, and aircraft systems. + Knowledge of avionics systems and aircraft mechanical operations. **Why Work Here?** We offer a contract-to-hire opportunity with no tools required, daily per diem for qualifying contractors, medical benefits, paid vacation time, paid sick time, and an employee perks program. The work environment includes working in the hangar and on the flight line, with 1st shift opportunities available. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
