**Job Title: Aircraft Avionics Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking skilled Aircraft Avionics Technicians to join our team working on A119 (TH-73) commercial helicopters. As an Avionics Technician, you will assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components. You will also document work performed, control equipment status tags, log critical information during installation, verify parts requests, and more. This role requires the ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and written instructions. You must be proficient with various manual hand tools and specialized aircraft test equipment. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, are essential. This position requires the ability to perform duties on all shifts, in all weather conditions, and while wearing required safety equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components.
+ Clearly document work performed, control equipment status tags, and log critical information during installation.
+ Verify parts requests and read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and written instructions.
+ Use a variety of manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, heat shrink gun, and specialized aircraft test equipment.
+ Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with other employees, supervision, and others as required.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in avionic troubleshooting and functional testing.
+ Experience with aircraft avionics, avionics systems, wiring, and wire harness.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
+ Experience with avionic installations and repairs.
+ Familiarity with aircraft electronics, maintenance, and assembly.
+ Soldering skills, including work with coaxial cables.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ 4+ years of electrical/avionic aviation production experience preferred; military experience considered.
+ Knowledge of rotary or fixed-wing aircraft.
+ General knowledge of aviation electrical/avionic components and systems.

**Work Environment**
Work will be performed on the final assembly helicopter line or flight line. This position offers 1st and 2nd shift opportunities and requires no personal tools. The work environment includes handling various manual hand tools and specialized aircraft test equipment. Safety equipment must be worn at all times.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00/hr.
