Helicopter Electrician
**Job Title: Aircraft Avionics Technician** **Job Description** Avionics Technicians will be working on the A119 (TH-73) commercial helicopters. You will be responsible for assembling, modifying, and installing wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components. This role requires clear documentation of work performed, control of equipment status tags, logging of critical information during installation, verification of parts requests, and reading and interpreting schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and written instructions. **Responsibilities** + Assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components. + Clearly document work performed, control equipment status tags, log critical information during installation, and verify parts requests. + Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and written instructions. + Use a variety of manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, heat shrink guns, and specialized aircraft test equipment. + Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with other employees and members of supervision. + Perform assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions, while wearing required safety equipment. **Essential Skills** + Avionics troubleshooting + Functional testing + Aircraft avionics systems and wiring + Schematic reading and interpretation + Avionics installation and repair + Aircraft electronics maintenance + Aircraft assembly + Soldering and coaxial cable handling **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent + 4+ years of electrical/avionic aviation production experience (military experience considered) + Knowledge of rotary or fixed-wing aircraft + General knowledge of aviation electrical/avionic components and systems **Why Work Here?** We offer immediate direct hire and contract-to-hire opportunities with one of the industry's leaders in aircraft manufacturing.
