Help Desk Administrator
Description We are in search of a Help Desk Administrator to join our team, based in EUGENE, Oregon. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and involves providing support to our tech team, assisting with troubleshooting, and handling customer inquiries. As a Help Desk Administrator, you'll be an essential part of our operations, ensuring that our clients receive timely and effective technical support. Responsibilities: • Answer incoming calls and provide Tier 1, 2, and 3 technical support • Assist two existing employees in handling and assessing technical issues • Troubleshoot issues for drivers, escalating to Tier 2 when necessary • Respond to inquiries such as setup procedures, fixes, and installations • Handle potential mechanical troubleshooting tasks • Place replacement orders and handle RMA's (Return Merchandise Authorization) • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word to organize files and schedule appointments • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and scanning as necessary • Handle shipping functions as required. Requirements • Proficiency in administrative assistance tasks and responsibilities • Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service • Demonstrated ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word • Skills in organizing files and maintaining an efficient filing system • Experience in operating scanning equipment and software • Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively • Knowledge of shipping functions and procedures • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure • High attention to detail and accuracy • A proactive approach to work and the ability to take initiative • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
