Description
Robert Half is seeking a qualified Tier 1 IT Support Analyst to join a Boston-based investment management firm, offering support across a range of hardware and software systems within their investment management firm. This role involves providing first level technical IT support to users, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions under tight deadlines within the financial industry.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide rapid resolution to end-users IT related issues via email, telephone, self-service requests, and in-person interactions.
+ Ensure efficient and effective management of incidents via a ticket systems.
+ Use Office 365, OneDrive, VPN’s, and basic networking to facilitate effective end-user support.
+ Collaborate with IT teams and management to develop and maintain supporting documentation for applications and processes.
+ Use Microsoft HyperV, Jamf for MacOS support, Windows PowerShell, and Linux/Mac command line tools in daily operations.
+ Participate in training sessions and individual learning to stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies.
Requirements
+ Minimum of 5 years of professional IT help-desk or IT analyst experience.
+ Strong knowledge of Office 365 & OneDrive, VPN's and basic networking, Microsoft HyperV, Jamf for MacOS support, Windows PowerShell, Linux/Mac command line tools.
+ Proven experience in customer service.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
+ Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
+ Experience in supporting financial applications is a significant plus.
Note: This position requires an onsite presence five days a week in Boston.
