Help Desk Analyst

We have an outstanding Contract position for aHelp Desk Analystto join a leading Company located in theCarson, CAsurrounding area.
Pay Rate: $30
Responsibilities :
+ Analyze business issues, define requirements, design computer programs, and recommend automated system controls and protocols to solve organizational information issues
+ Determine operational objectives, gather information, and evaluate output requirements and formats
+ Work closely with end users to analyze, define, model, and document systems requirements
+ Identify project milestones, phases, and elements, and keep the team within the timeline and budget
+ Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications
+ Develop organizational change management framework and conduct user acceptance testing
+ Maintain automated system protocols by writing and updating procedures
+ May create end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts, and training materials) and deliver training
+ Improved business processes thr ough the use of business applications fit for purpose and harmonized across the branch
+ Successful implementation of applications and changes to applications
+ Improved communication and understanding between business departments and the customer
+ Data Analysis
+ Interview business process owners and key users, analyze and document business processes and requirements, and develop system proposals and functional specifications
+ Translate diverse business requirements into common functional specifications
+ Review requests for projects and changes and advice on approval based on, for example, feasibility, compliance with standards, business case, risk, priority
+ Support the implementation of ERP & other business systems, advise and support key users
+ Prepare training material, provide training, and support the creation of work instructions
+ Support the preparation and execution of software testing
+ Result expectations:
+ Business applications reflect the needs of the business
+ Proper specifications to support development by the customer or 3rd parties
+ Harmonization of business applications and business processes

+ Act as Business Project Manager during smaller projects or changes
+ Support the customer and Business Project Manager
+ Involve internal functions and coordinate and verify work performed by external consultants
+ Ensure solutions adhere to corporate architecture standards and requirements

+ Projects and changes delivered on time, within budget, at good quality, and in accordance with business requirements and architectural standards
+ Relationship Management
+ Act as point of contact for questions and information for system and reporting changes
+ Advice and support the business in the use of Reporting and Business Intelligence tools
+ Hold periodic meetings with BPOs to evaluate how systems could be improved to solve business problems
+ Anticipate improvements in business processes or reporting
+ Result expectations:
+ Understanding of business needs before formal requests are made

+ Participate in the definition and maintenance of system and data architecture standards
+ Support the development of information systems plans
+ Support the harmonization of business applications, help prepare a realistic roadmap

Basic Hiring Criteria :
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience & education required
Desired Qualifications :
+ Experience in data analysis with a solid understanding of business processes is preferred
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
+ Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
+ Strong overall ERP knowledge
+ Requires moderate skill sets and developing proficiency within the discipline
+ Conducts tasks and assignments as directed
+ Works under moderate supervision with latitude for independent judgment
+ Strong decision quality is expected
