Help Desk Analyst
Description We are welcoming applications for the role of a Help Desk Analyst in our team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The selected candidate will be the initial contact for IT support requests, tackling basic IT issues, managing tickets, and providing timely updates to users. The role involves a variety of tasks including processing IT requests, maintaining records, and supporting IT administrative tasks. Responsibilities: • Be the primary contact for IT support requests coming in via phone, email, or ticketing system. • Manage basic IT problems such as password resets, printer connectivity issues, and account lockouts. • Record and classify support tickets accurately in the helpdesk system. • Prioritize support tickets and allocate them to the appropriate IT technicians based on urgency and skill level. • Ensure open tickets are followed up on to maintain customer satisfaction. • Keep users informed about the status of their IT requests and escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support. • Keep precise records of IT support activities and update the knowledge base with frequently asked questions and solutions. • Assist in preparing and configuring basic IT equipment such as workstations, peripherals, and user accounts. • Aid in IT administrative tasks, including inventory tracking and documentation. Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent; IT-related certification or coursework is a plus. + Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals. + Strong organizational and time-management skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. + Customer service-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset. + Experience with ticketing systems (preferred but not required).
