Help Desk Analyst
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst located in Alpharetta, Georgia. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be integral in maintaining the smooth operation of our computing environment, including the repair, upgrade, and maintenance of various hardware and equipment. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and solving problems related to computer systems, hardware, software and Point of Sale systems. Responsibilities: • Provide prompt and efficient responses to requests received through the IT helpdesk • Offer technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware via phone, email, chat, or on-site. • Guide customers through the problem-solving process to resolve their technical issues • Troubleshoot and solve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems. • Conduct diagnostics to resolve customer-reported issues • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software • Document and track issues using incident management systems. • Escalate significant and recurring issues to the tier-2 support team • Maintain the optimal performance of workstations and stores by installing, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading all hardware and equipment, including but not limited to PC, registers, printers, and scanners • Provide end-user assistance as required. Requirements • Proficiency in Android Development with a keen understanding of its frameworks and functionality • In-depth knowledge of Cisco Technologies, including network management and system configurations • Expertise in Citrix Technologies, with a focus on virtualization, networking and cloud services • Familiarity with Mac Computers, including troubleshooting and maintenance • Proficient in various Microsoft tools and software, including Office Suite and Windows OS • Experience with Active Directory, including user and group management • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain Apple Devices, with a focus on iOS • Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware, including the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues • Experience in Configuration Management, ensuring the system's stability, functionality, and security • Proven track record in managing Deployments, including the planning, scheduling, and coordination of software releases.
