Help Desk Analyst
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in Alpharetta, Georgia, United States. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be instrumental in maintaining our desktop and store computing environment, ensuring optimal performance and resolving any arising technical issues. Responsibilities: • Respond promptly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk. • Provide technical assistance for incoming queries and issues relating to computer systems, software, hardware, and Point of Sale systems via various communication channels. • Guide customers through the problem-solving process to ensure their issues are resolved. • Diagnose and rectify technical problems with Local and Wide Area Networks, as well as other systems. • Apply diagnostic techniques to resolve customer-reported issues. • Oversee the installation, changes, and repair of computer hardware and software. • Maintain documentation and track issues with incident management systems. • Identify significant and recurring issues and report them to the tier-2 support team. • Troubleshoot and correct faulty hardware and software remotely in a prompt manner. • Assist in maintaining and upgrading all hardware and equipment, including but not limited to PC, registers, printers, and scanners. Requirements • Proficiency in Android Development, demonstrating the ability to create, test, and maintain Android applications • Extensive knowledge of Cisco Technologies, including network design, implementation, and troubleshooting • Familiarity with Citrix Technologies, including virtualization, networking, and cloud services • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain Mac Computers, with a strong understanding of macOS and its applications • Expertise in Microsoft products and services, including Office Suite and SharePoint • Experience with Active Directory, including user and group management, GPO configuration, and troubleshooting • Proficiency in handling and troubleshooting Apple Devices, including iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks • Strong understanding of Computer Hardware, including the ability to diagnose and repair common hardware issues • Experience in Configuration Management, including the ability to create, maintain, and enforce standards for deployment of IT infrastructure • Knowledge of IT Deployments, including planning, scheduling, and managing deployment of IT infrastructure and applications Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
