Help Desk Analyst I

Description We are in need of a Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan. This role operates in a Help Desk/Call Center environment within the legal industry, offering a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a Help Desk Analyst I, you will be involved in various tasks ranging from troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, to resetting passwords and processing customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Provide professional communication in a law office environment, answering basic help desk calls
• Triage issues and escalate them if necessary
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and maintain an active directory
• Conduct hardware installation and troubleshooting, alongside software configuration, deployment, and installation
• Utilize a ticketing system to manage customer inquiries and issues
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Windows, Windows Desktop, and other Windows Environments
• Assist in networking tasks and ensure smooth functioning of all systems
• Handle software and hardware inquiries from customers, ensuring accurate and efficient processing. Requirements • Possess skills in Basic Network Troubleshooting and Basic Troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Hardware Installation and Hardware Troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Software Configuration, Software Deployment, and Software Installation
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Ticketing System
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Windows Desktop, and Windows Environment
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with IT industry best practices
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated
• Relevant certifications in hardware and software management and security will be advantageous
• Proven experience as a help desk analyst or similar role
