Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, you will be the primary contact for technical support, ensuring smooth operations of hardware, software, and network-related issues within an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
• Provide frontline support by answering, logging, and resolving incoming help desk inquiries through various communication channels.
• Handle basic troubleshooting and support for a variety of devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, projectors, printers, and other peripherals.
• Manage student, faculty, and staff accounts, including tasks such as password resets, account unlocks, and login troubleshooting.
• Address tickets related to classroom technology, which includes smartboards, audio/visual systems, and other instructional tools.
• Carry out basic maintenance tasks, such as software updates, virus scans, and device configurations.
• Maintain accurate records of technical issues and their resolutions within the ticketing system to identify trends and improve service delivery.
• Offer basic guidance and instructions to users on common technology tools, usage policies, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures, particularly those related to data security and privacy. Requirements • Proficiency in Android Development is essential
• Familiarity with Cisco Technologies is required
• Experience with Citrix Technologies is a must
• Ability to troubleshoot issues on Mac Computers
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft products and services
• Experience in managing Active Directory
• Competency in handling and troubleshooting Apple Devices
• Understanding of Computer Hardware is necessary
• Ability to perform Configuration Management tasks
