Description
We are offering a long-term contract/potential contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst II in ERIE, Pennsylvania. As part of the team, you'll be responsible for handling technical issues, managing software needs, and ensuring optimal system performance. Your role will also involve collaboration on IT projects, vendor management, and providing guidance to entry level team members.
Responsibilities
• Handle incoming tickets, addressing issues based on urgency and providing technical support to users.
• Manage the process of updating user and lab computers, ensuring correct configurations and software installations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify software needs across various teams and departments, ensuring proper installation and configuration.
• Utilize System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for deploying software and imaging computers to maintain standardization across all systems.
• Provide support for Windows OS, Office 365, and other software applications, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Administer user/group management in Active Directory and Intune, ensuring devices are properly managed and users are granted appropriate access.
• Remotely manage and troubleshoot servers, addressing any issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with networking-related issues, demonstrating familiarity with IDF (Intermediate Distribution Frame) and network closets.
• Work collaboratively with team leads and stakeholders on various IT projects, including system upgrades and evaluations.
• Evaluate conference rooms, perform inventory, make recommendations, and present findings to key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes and specifications for replacing old devices, particularly in factory environments.
• Balance a mix of ticket-based tasks and high-priority projects, effectively managing time and stress while maintaining productivity and focus.
• Communicate clearly and proactively, knowing when and how to escalate issues, and providing updates without needing constant follow-up.
• Assist entry level team members when needed, providing guidance and support to ensure overall team success.
Requirements • Proficient in Android Development
• Familiar with Cisco Technologies
• Experience with Citrix Technologies
• Knowledgeable in using and troubleshooting Mac Computers
• Proficiency in Microsoft software and tools
• Expertise in Active Directory management
• Able to troubleshoot and manage Apple Devices
• Understanding of Computer Hardware
• Experience in Configuration Management
