Help Desk Manager
Description We are in the process of expanding our team in The Woodlands, Texas, with the addition of a Help Desk Manager. This role is within the Energy/Natural Resources industry and is ideally suited for a candidate with a strong background in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Dell Technologies, and ITSM. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize and further develop your skills in a dynamic and technologically advanced environment. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee the help desk operations, ensuring efficient and effective support to end-users • Utilize Cisco, Citrix, Cloud, and Dell Technologies to resolve complex IT issues • Implement and manage ITSM practices within the organization to streamline IT service delivery • Ensure the accurate configuration and deployment of computer hardware and software • Provide deskside support to staff, addressing any hardware or software issues they may encounter • Manage and maintain the Active Directory, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information • Develop and implement strategies for the continuous improvement of help desk services • Liaise with other IT departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery • Train and mentor help desk staff, fostering a team-oriented and customer-focused work environment • Monitor and report on help desk performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate solutions. Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in Cisco Technologies for efficient network management. • Proficiency in Citrix Technologies to facilitate remote access and virtualization. • Knowledge of Cloud Technologies for data storage and backup solutions. • Experience with Dell Technologies for hardware and software support. • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) for structured service delivery. • Ability to manage and troubleshoot Active Directory for user and group policies. • Strong understanding of Computer Hardware for effective issue resolution. • Proficiency in Configuration Management to maintain system consistency. • Experience in managing Deployments for successful roll-out of new applications. • Expertise in Deskside Support to provide end-user assistance.
