We are seeking a Help Desk Specialist Level II to work at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA. In this position you will join a technically diverse team to include, but not limited to other Help Desk Specialists, Network Engineers, System Administrators, and Database Professionals. Together, this team provides IT Operations and Support to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Agency which is responsible for training law enforcement professionals from over 90 different agencies.
Responsibilities Set up and/or repair computer equipment and related devicesMaintain system capabilities by testing existing equipment, programs, and softwareDocument changes, revisions, and problemsTrain users on proper use of hardware and softwareClearly communicate the understanding of the proper use of technology to the teamManage and train beginner specialistsTier II Technician responsibilities Qualifications At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting software and hardware in a customer service roleExcellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills using the English languageHigh school diploma or equivalent experience Ideal candidates will possess an associate's or bachelor's degree with an emphasis on Information Technology - Network AdministrationCompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ - preferredMust be able to pass the Federal Law Enforcement Background Investigation Posted Min Pay Rate USD $36,553.00/Yr.
