Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking a Help Desk Support Assistant in our North Mankato, MN facility! this role is crucial in providing initial support to employees/users, ensuring that their issues are resolved quickly or escalated appropriately.

Your Responsibilities:

Provide quick and effective assistance with information technology systems via email, phone, online chats, or in personInform end users about IT products and servicesWalk end users step-by-step through the problem-solving processGuide end users remotely through systems configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenanceListen attentively to end users’ questions and concerns and offer optimal solutionsFollow up with end users to ensure satisfactory service and communicate feedback to the appropriate internal team membersPrioritize end user satisfaction in all communications, directing unresolved issues to next-level personnel

You Must Have:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsComprehensive knowledge of computer systems and experience troubleshooting hardware and softwareThe ability to break down technological processes and deliver clear, step-by-step instructionsPatient, friendly demeanor with a great aptitude for listeningStrong verbal and written communication skills with a customer focused approachCommitment to providing exceptional end user serviceTeam-oriented mindset with an openness to constructive feedbackEagerness to learn new technologies and systemsExperience working as an IT help desk technician or in a similar end user support role

We Would Also Prefer:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldExperience in customer service or technical support roleBasic understanding of networking conceptsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $19 - 21. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
