Description
We are offering an employment opportunity for a Help Desk Technician in Jacksonville, Florida. This role primarily involves providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining network and system security across various platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive support for trouble tickets related to hardware and software issues.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems reported by users swiftly and efficiently.
• Administer and maintain network and system security protocols.
• Identify and cater to the technical needs of users.
• Manage servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, and smartphones.
• Oversee software deployment, security updates, and patches.
• Provide Desktop Support and leverage skills in Network Troubleshooting and Connectivity.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 while performing tasks.
Requirements • Possess strong expertise in Desktop Support
• Have experience in Network Troubleshooting
• Demonstrate proficiency in handling Connectivity issues
• Display familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10
• Proven ability to diagnose and solve hardware/software faults
• Ability to analyze call logs to spot common trends and underlying problems
• Experience in working within a ticketing system in a customer support environment
• Excellent communication skills for the purpose of understanding user needs and explaining technical issues
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize work and manage time effectively
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
• Willingness to learn about new technologies and maintain industry knowledge
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ would be considered a plus
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Commitment to exceptional customer service
