Description
Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Analyst III to a medical device manufacturer based in Hillsboro, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in managing IT systems and providing technical support in a hybrid Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory environment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours work week; normal operating business hours)
Duration: 3-6 month contract (with possibility of extension)
Pay rate: $35-$40/hourly
Key Responsibilities:
+ Engage and collaborate with IT colleagues in a cross-functional team environment.
+ Oversee the inventory, configuration, installation, and maintenance of computer software and hardware.
+ Administer Microsoft Office 365 accounts/licenses, Exchange users, mailboxes, and associated objects using Active Directory in a hybrid environment.
+ Provide routine analysis and technical support, addressing systemic issues to improve overall performance.
+ Communicate effectively with internal teams, users, and external vendors to resolve technical challenges.
+ Contact and coordinate with hardware and software vendors as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
+ Perform network troubleshooting to resolve user and system issues.
+ Develop and maintain system documentation, ensuring all procedures and configurations are well-documented.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills:
+ 7+ years of related experience including in an IT systems administration or Tier III Support role.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience managing Microsoft Office 365 tenants, Exchange, and Microsoft Active Directory in a hybrid environment.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques related to computers, operating systems, common Windows applications, and network troubleshooting.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
+ Experience working in a discrete manufacturing environment.
+ Familiarity with interfacing IT software and hardware systems with CNC machines.
Soft Skills:
+ Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical users.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
+ Patience and professionalism when working with users of varied technical abilities.
