Denver Springs is a 96 bed behavioral hospital located in Englewood, CO. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents, and their families. At Denver Springs, we are dedicated to Changing People’s Lives®.
As a Help for Heroes® Therapist, you will work within our specialty Help for Heroes program as an integral part of our clinical services team. We provide high quality, evidence-based care to meet the individual needs of our Active Duty, Veteran, First Responder, and Frontline Healthcare Workers. Our patient centric, culturally sensitive, and highly effective approach to care delivers superior treatment to our patients throughout the full continuum of services we provide. Our successful clinical model not only includes group therapy, but also family and individual therapy as well for the overall improvement of our patients’ quality of life.

Provide therapeutic interventions to patients suffering from psychiatric and substance use disorders in group therapy, individual sessions, and family therapyEnsure accurate and timely documentationAppropriately communicate with clients, families, and outside referral sourcesActively engage in individualized treatment planning for patients and work with patients to achieve treatment goalsSuccessfully collaborate with the Denver Springs team to ensure quality care for patientsSalary range: $33 - $38 per hour. We would expect those hired into this job would be paid within this hourly rate, however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this hourly rate.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or equivalent licensure in Colorado.Current unencumbered state licensure per state requirementsPrior work with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients preferredCPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment
