U.S. Physical Therapy, Inc. is currently seeking a highly energetic individual to join our unique and exciting outpatient healthcare company as a Help Desk Technician. The individual chosen will need to be flexible as we have varied shifts. This position is based out of our corporate office in the Westchase area of Houston.

Job Duties:
Provide first level technical support to end users: password resets, toner and basic printer/scanner maintenance and installation, basic hardware, and software repairInstall various applicationsRespond to telephone calls and emails for technical support in a timely mannerDocument, track, and monitor support requests to ensure a timely resolutionAccomplish goals and pre-established guidelines by relying on instruction and established policies and proceduresBased on complexity and time on a support issue, determine when to escalate to the Help Desk Team LeadShip, receive, and asset tag all hardwareImage and deploy computers to the field and local Houston locationProcess all new requests in Track-IT work order system and assign requests to the proper queueClose a minimum of 15 work orders a dayAssist and complete IT Department projects as needed
Qualifications:
Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures typical within the information systems industryWorking knowledge with troubleshooting application installations and building computersIdeal applicant would have experience working with remote employees over the phoneTroubleshoot basic networking and hardware issuesConfigure networking equipment and softwareAbility to multi-taskExcellent customer service skillsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP / 7 / 8 / 10 Professional, Microsoft Office desktop applications
