About The Job:

The Laboratory Supervisor provides technical supervision and operational leadership to the department/shift.Uses the established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care.The Supervisor also assumes Technologist responsibilities and patient care during census fluctuations and/or staffing shortages.Responsible for obtaining diagnostic quality results according to pre-established guidelines.Champions and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience.Full time position Monday - Friday (Day shift) 

 

Education: 

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology is required. 

Experience:

5 years of clinical laboratory experience in high complexity testing is required.Supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

Licenses/Certs:

Registration as an MT (ASCP) or equivalent is required.
