Hemophilia Treatment Center Program Manager

Job Description:

The Incumbent for this role coordinates the clinical program for the Utah Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders (UCBCD) at Primary Children's, a federally funded and designated hemophilia treatment center (HTC) to care for pediatric and adult patients with inherited bleeding and clotting disorders. The program serves Utah and portions of surrounding states and provides comprehensive medical care that includes physical therapy and social work services. The program comprises various components that include clinical care, community outreach, clinical and translational research and a federally supported 340B clotting factor dispensing program. The incumbent is also responsible for screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing and treatment of injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with standard physical therapy practices.

Position Details:

This role will support the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, currently located at Primary Children’s Hospital campuses in Salt Lake City and Lehi, Utah. The incumbent for this role will work Monday-Friday, during regular business hours.

Under the direction of our cancer, blood, transplant service line, the incumbent will be the administrative manager of the UCBCD program. Incumbent is responsible for coordinating the clinical programs which include, but are not restricted to: outreach, community interactions, grant writing and reporting, social and physical therapy services, data collection for the Center for Disease Prevention (CDC) and the American Thrombosis and Hemostasis and Network (ATHN).

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Clinical experience with Hemophilia and Thrombosis patients.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to travel to regional or national meetings.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$43.67 - $67.41
