Job Summary and Mission: 

The Heritage Market is designed to pay homage to our past while looking to the future. This market includes the original Pike Place store (our history), 1st and Pike (our core), and 1st and University (our future). As part of this market, you will belong to a team that works between all three locations in the Heritage Market on a regular basis.  

As a Heritage Market Starbucks barista, you will work in a one-of-a-kind market highlighting the culture and history of Starbucks. You’ll be in an environment where you’ll have the ability to master your food & beverage craft, work alongside friends, engage with the community and meet new people every day.  You will be committed to operational excellence through the delivery of high-quality products while working cohesively with the greater team to ensure delivery of the Heritage Market experience.

Consider yourself a “people person,” and enjoy meeting others.  Love working as a team and appreciate the chance to collaborate.  Understand how to create a great customer service experience.  Have a focus on quality and take pride in your work.  Are open to learning and helping develop new things (especially the latest beverage recipe!)  Are comfortable with responsibilities like cash-handling and store safety.  Can keep cool and calm in a fast-paced, energetic work environment.  Can maintain a clean and organized workspace.  Have excellent communications skills.

Summary of Experience  

Previous food and beverage, hospitality, or retail experience preferred  

  

Basic Qualifications
