The partnership with Henry Ford Health is very exciting for Henry Ford Health - Jackson facility and our community.  Opportunity:  ·         Hospital-employed Neurosurgery opportunity with high volume and APP support ·         Level 2 Trauma Center ·         Call 1:4 / 90% outpatient – 10% inpatient ·         Case load Adult 90% / Peds 10% / 20-25 patients a day in clinic (Avg 5 new patients) ·          OR block time, with state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated Neurosurgery OR team (2 days OR/3 days clinic) ·         Dedicated neuro-intensive care unit, stroke unit, and neurosurgical services on-site ·         Procedures: Spine (C,T,L) Surgeries (Fusion/Decompression) Kyphoplasty, SCS Implant, Craniectomy/Plasty, Shunt Placement ·         Potential -For teaching, academic appointment with Michigan State University  Community: ·         Within 55 minutes of an International Airport ·         Low cost of living ·         County population 160,000 City of Jackson 31,347  ·         Jackson County has 16 Public School, 16 Private Parochial Schools, along with 3 Colleges (Jackson Community and Baker) / and Spring Arbor Universities ·         250 Churches ·         500 Holes of Golf (Which several are Nationally ranked) ·         188 Lakes / 27 Public Parks ·         International Speedway, and a Jackson Symphony Orchestra
