**Job Title: Hi-Temp Staging Operator**
**Job Description**
The position is in the Carbon division, requiring the operation of highly technical equipment involving high temperature induction furnaces and textile operations. The role involves monitoring equipment, recording data, and ensuring production and quality standards are met. Comfort with high temperatures and large induction furnaces is essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate high temperature induction furnaces and textile equipment.
+ Monitor and record equipment data to document the manufacturing process.
+ Load and unload machines to meet production and quality standards.
+ Document discrepancies and outcomes in the manufacturing process.
+ Troubleshoot manufacturing anomalies and perform preventative maintenance as required.
+ Use basic measurement tools to quality check parts against blueprints.
**Essential Skills**
+ 6 months to 1 year of experience running any type of machine or working in production/manufacturing.
+ Experience matching parts to prints.
+ Experience using different types of gauges (height, depth, thread, etc.), micrometers, and calipers.
+ Experience with computers for data entry.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Adaptability and flexibility.
+ Building trust and contributing to team success.
+ Initiating action and ownership.
+ Experience with machine operation, inspection, pneumatics, CNC, digital control, HMI, robotics, and automation.
+ Customer focus and good work standards.
+ Willingness to help out and keep the department clean and organized.

**Work Environment**
The Carbon Department is located in a newer building with many upgrades. The area is climate-controlled but can get hot in sections with furnaces. The position requires working 12-hour rotating shifts (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am) on a 2-2-3 schedule, rotating every 8 weeks.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Walton, Kentucky.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
