High Level Synthesis (HLS) Staff Engineer 2 Job ID 6294 Location SLAC - Menlo Park, CA Full-Time Regular **SLAC Job Postings** **Position Overview:** The Electronics Systems department within the Technology Innovation directorate at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory seeks a talented Electronics Engineer to develop cutting-edge electronics systems for world-class research facilities, including space-based applications. In this role, you will engage in concept development, system design, and hands-on work with detector and control systems. This position requires flexibility¿ranging from initial concept development to laboratory testing, electronics/software development in testbed environments, and on-site commissioning with domain experts. The primary focus is on streaming data acquisition and real-time control solutions. As part of our team, you will contribute to advanced electronics for scientific instrumentation, developing innovative solutions that support SLAC research programs. Working alongside leading scientists, you will design and support complex systems from concept to operation, spanning high-speed data acquisition, real-time processing, and electronic control.
