High Line Worker

We, the Line Operations department at LCRA, based at the Western Maintenance Facility in Marble Falls Texas are looking for a High Line worker to join our team! In this role you would help us in our mission to improve the lives of Central Texas. You will be trusted to:

- Assist journey-level personnel from the ground in the construction and/or maintenance and repair of transmission lines, right of ways, transmission steel structure foundation installations, and with site prep.
- Assist in operation and maintenance of equipment such as bucket, boom, winch trucks, etc. used in performing aerial work.
- Prepare and transports equipment and material for daily projects.
- Respond to emergency and other call-out situations as required.
- Learn to perform aerial work. Climb wood and steel transmission structures to extreme heights using proper safety equipment.

You qualify with:

- Zero or more years of experience in transmission and/or distribution line construction and/or maintenance
work or related field involving work at heights or relevant experience.
- Driver’s license

You are a great fit with:

- Must obtain Class A Texas commercial driver’s license within one year (365 days) of hire as a condition of employment
- Experience in heavy equipment operations, tanker endorsement, and using rigging equipment.
- Experience in reading and interpreting diagrams and prints
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, climb wood, and steel structures up to extreme heights.
- Ability to work in standing, climbing, stooping and walking positions.
- Knowledge of LCRA's safety and environmental policies, practices, and procedures
