Job Summary:
Typically, expect significant professional experience in account management and/or sales. Demonstrates how a range of situations may be affected by the principles of insurance. Applies the principles of insurance to various situations. Fully competent in applying established standards and works with guidance or direct supervision by exception. Performs more complex responsibilities and are primary points of contact for the clients they oversee. Develops action plans to reach client goals and suggests potential upgrades to grow or diversify client portfolio, and works closely with the sales team to help acquire new clients. Required to have the necessary insurance license(s)
Job Summary:
The Senior Private Client Advisor, is a key player in inside sales and account management, responsible for closing leads generated by the COI network, including internal referral partners. This role demands substantial experience in HNW sales and account management, with a focus on applying insurance principles to various scenarios. The Executive handles complex responsibilities, serves as the primary client contact, and collaborates closely with the sales team to acquire new clients. A valid insurance license is required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
Close new business opportunities by leveraging leads generated through the COI network and internal referral partners.Prospect, solicit, quote, present proposals, and close new Personal Lines accounts.Attend and host networking events to expand the Personal Lines portfolio.Maintain and update weekly pipeline reports.Implement new business strategies with the Director and Team to achieve production goals.Account Management:
Manage insurance renewal and selection processes for assigned accounts.Identify cross-sell and organic growth opportunities within the assigned book of business.Develop and monitor annual client service plans in conjunction with claims.Establish and maintain relationships with senior-level client personnel, acting as a trusted advisor.Facilitate opportunities for other internal departments.Client Service:
Develop rapport with underwriters and effectively communicate account backgrounds, desired price points, and coverages.Apply problem-solving techniques to issues such as cancellations, claims, renewals, audits, and carrier concerns.Collaborate within the practice group to address emerging risks and carrier issues.Maintain timelines and reviews during the renewal cycle.Brand Ambassador:
Represent the Practice Group to internal and external clients and industry peers.Collaborate with leadership on messaging and work with marketing/PR resources to promote and educate clients and prospects.Drive value back to clients and stakeholders by creating differentiation for the Practice Group.Specialty Knowledge:
Continuously learn about industry trends and risks faced by clients and prospects.Apply problem-solving techniques to agency, prospect, and insurance company issues.Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Strong management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Epic experience is a plus.Demonstrated sales experience with proven results.Strong technical skills and knowledge of coverage and markets.College degree preferred but not requiredProperty and casualty insurance license required.Minimum of 5 years of HNW Personal Lines experience in an agency/brokerage environment.Professional Insurance Designations preferred.Strong ability to Cross Sell
