High Net Worth Wealth Supervisor

The role of the High Net Worth Wealth Supervisor works closely with sales management and with various WPB Wealth teams to ensure proper compliance to industry regulations. The role is intended to provide day-to-day supervision support within WPB, specifically within HNW, and to drive execution of new regulatory policies and procedures through various initiatives, ensuring ensure best practices in assigned branches, orienting new hires to branch and HSBC policies and practices and participating in branch promotional activities and special projects as required

As our High Net Worth Wealth Supervisor you will:

Ability to provide timely and accurate policy interpretation in a fast paced real time environment
Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issuesManage operational risk, by using relevant MI to identify risk situations and take any appropriate action to minimize lossEnsure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues.Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $155,700.00 and $233,600.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

Minimum of 7-10 years proven Private Banking supervisory or related investment supervisory experience required
SIE, Series 7, Series 9, Series 10, Series 24 (preferred), Series 66 (or Series 63 and Series 65)Experience supervising Registered Investment Advisors, and RIA products
Familiarity with FINRA, SEC, and state rules and regulations
Good problem resolution skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
Sound judgment and keen sense of urgency – able to achieve results quickly
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
High level of professional and personal integrityKnowledge of the private banking business – both domestic and off-shoreUnderstanding of the regulatory environment
