ResponsibilitiesAs a Leasing Professional for Multifamily with Hines, you will be responsible for partnering with the Community Manager pertaining to the property’s marketing, advertising and sales activities. You will also provide resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease and secure resident lease renewals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Inspect apartments prior to occupancy and ensure the apartment is in excellent condition prior to move inConduct property tours to future residents and visitorsProcess documentation such as credit screening, criminal background checks, lease and move in packages and lease signingDevelop marketing plans with the goal to sustain occupancy as well as staying informed about the current marketUse and create promotional items and technology to communicate with potential prospects and generate revenueEnsure the achievement of the property’s revenue and occupancy goals by directing the marketing, advertising and sales actives as well as ensure the apartments are available for occupancyAssist the Leasing Manager with the lease renewal program and the communication processBuild relationships with prospective and future residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize decisions to lease and/or renew Qualifications
Minimum Requirements include:
High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institutionPrior experience in customer service or sales experience preferredIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office; Entrata experience preferredLease-up experience a plusExcellent written and verbal communicationUse olfactory, auditory, and visual senses to inspect building and detect emergency alarmsOn occasion, perform physical inspections of the property which may include climbing up and down stairs or accessing restrictive openingsAbility to lift up to 25lbsThough occurrences are rare, be accessible 24 hours a day in case of an emergency and perform on-site operations management during natural disastersTransfer properties and work overtime as business needs deem appropriateAbility to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Closing
