The Opportunity:

CACI is currently looking for a High School Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team supporting Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport for the Department of Defense.  Join our passionate team of industry-leading individuals on a program that leverages the best practices in Systems Engineering and Rapid Prototyping to integrate and deliver state of the art capability in support of our nation’s warfighters.

This position will be located in Crane, IN and will be 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Support project design and sustainment efforts for a wide variety of programs ranging from platform integration for innovative technologies, to microelectronics and electrical schematic / architecture design.

• Interface directly with Program Managers, Project Managers and technical team members supporting the design and development projects and the execution of these projects.

• These activities may involve data collection and analysis, review and support generation of technical documents, drawings and specifications, supporting design and fabrication of prototypes.

• Support project team on troubleshooting and problem solving sprints.

• Additionally, the position will support integration and test events for various projects.



Qualifications:

Required: 

US Citizenship is required and the eligibility to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance.Must be a current high school studentAbility to support multiple projects simultaneously


Desired:

Experience reviewing and understanding technical drawings.Demonstrated experience with documentation, planning and organization skills.Previous internship / co-op work experience.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$35,776 - $54,000
