About Matchbook Learning Matchbook Learning is a non-profit charter management organization based in Indianapolis, Indiana. We operate two schools: Matchbook Learning at Wendell Phillips School 63, serving students in Kindergarten through 8th grade, and The Match High School and Career Center, which currently serves 9th grade students and will expand to include 9th and 10th grade students in the fall of 2025. We are currently seeking an MLL Teacher to join our Multilingual Learner Team at The Match High School and Career Center. Position Overview As a Matchbook Learning MLL Teacher you will be a teacher, a project advisor and a learning facilitator. Matchbook teachers provide targeted instruction, lead discussions, coach students as they work with individualized online learning tools, and collaborate with peers to ensure high levels of student achievement. We believe teachers can achieve extraordinary results when their development is personalized and empowered with the aid of technology. The MLL Teacher will provide services for our identified MLL students through push-in and pull-out models. Teachers may have other duties as assigned. Requirements + ESL State Standard teaching certification or equivalent out-of-state certificate . + Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment. + Coachable and collaborative spirit + Bilingual (Spanish and English fluent) Preferred Qualifications + At least two years teaching experience in an urban or low income setting. + Demonstrated record of success in the classroom (as a classroom teacher preferred, assistant and student teaching evidence considered). + Demonstrated understanding of how to effectively analyze student data to guide instruction.
