The candidate will report to the High School Sports Director and will work closely with other managers in the department. This role requires someone knowledgeable and passionate about New Jersey High School Sports and understands the value of NJ.com’s expansive scholastic coverage. We’re looking for someone who has experience with live broadcasting and understands what it takes to live stream sports events, from start to finish. The candidate should be comfortable in a fast moving environment, with exceptional organizational and communication skills, as they’ll frequently be expected to interact outside the company. This position is in the High School Sports department, a part of the NJ.com newsroom. The role will require flexible scheduling during the school year, with potential night and/or weekend hours. This job requires reliable transportation to meet with sources and go on-location for occasional events around the state. You'll also be required to work out of our Woodbridge, NJ office when necessary.
