HIGH-VOLTAGE/ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT

This position is contingent based on contract award. Responsibilities Will support the NGA Washington electrical system. In addition, the Superintendent is responsible for managing all electrical, operations, maintenance, and power generation. Qualifications International Electrical Testing Association (NETA), Electronics Testing Technician (ETT) Level III Certification b. Commonwealth of Virginia Licensed Master Electrician c. National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Electrical Power Testing Level III Certification d. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace Certification e. OSHA ten hour and 30-hour Construction Safety Certification f. American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Level II Infrared Thermography Certification g. AVO Advanced Protective Relay Maintenance Technician Certification h. Demonstrated experience with: 1. DobleĀ® Insulation Analyzers 2. GE Relays 3. SEL Relays 4. Square D Equipment such as P24 Switch Gear, VR MV Breakers, and Master Pack Breakers 5. ASCO transfer switches 6. Variable Frequency Drives by ABB, Yaskana, Square D and GE i. Completion of the following National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (NJATC) training courses: 1. IDEAL Manufacturer Training: Introduction to Power Quality and Voltage Monitoring 2. Cable Splicing Certification 3. Industrial Power Systems This position requires a current Top Secret security clearance.
