The Propulsion HV Systems Engineer will participate in the system level design activities for the powertrain system, with a special focus on the electrical and controls integration to the rest of the vehicle system. You will Conceptualize, Design, Engineer, Develop and support the launch of next generation vehicle platform architectures for electric vehicles.

Engineering degree in an equivalent field, or equivalent experience3-7+ years of experience in systems design, systems architecture, powertrain systems integrationStrong electrical and systems engineering fundamentalsWorking knowledge of systems development, vehicle architecture, powertrain technologies, software/hardware tool development, motor calibration technologiesA systems approach to design and development with the desire and curiosity to strive for exceptional delivery execution and continuous improvementStrong written and verbal communication skills

 

 

Preferred Requirements:

M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechanical engineeringProven technical expertise in Powertrain Systems Design and understanding of the intricacies of the subsystemExperience with electric machine design and DC/AC inverter designExperience with Vehicle Network Protocols such as CAN, LIN & Automotive EthernetExperiencing designing and evaluating safety of High Voltage systemsExperience in leading product development from concept to deploymentExperience in MATLAB, Python, or equivalent tools for modeling and analysisProficiency in fundamentals of vehicle architecture, embedded systems design, RTOSes and real-time networkingStrong understanding of vehicle dynamicsStrong knowledge of Functional Safety and FMEA engineering development processesAn eagerness to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment where you are part of a high performing team
